Manchester International Festival Names New Executive Director

England’s Manchester International Festival today announces the appointment of Fiona Gasper as its new Executive Director.


Currently Executive Director at the Royal Exchange Theatre, Fiona will take over from MIF's current Executive Director Jim Forrester in March 2016.She was previously Executive Producer of Liverpool's 2008 European Capital of Culture Programme and was awarded a MBE in 2009 for her services to the arts.
The festival attracts,performers in art, dance, theater and music, and is devoted to new work.
It has been a major international event for the country since it took off in 2007, and this year’s festival, which was held in July, attracted more than a quarter-million visitors over 18 days.
it is expected that  She will work alongside John E. McGrathhas her assistant to organize the 2016 edition of the festival which will start march next year.

When are will going to upgrade from educational to commercial theatre?
