All Set For This Year Lagos Theatre Festival







All has been set for the commencement of this year, Lagos Theatre Festival. This year episode will return bigger and better than ever. The Festival is billed to take place at several venues on Lagos Island and the mainland with a number of affiliated  programme running alongside a Fringe strand allowing a greater than ever number of artists and audiences to take part.

To support emerging playwrights Lagos Theatre Festival had earlier sought submissions of scripts for the Festival. Playwrights were asked to reflect the experiences of young people living in Lagos today. The
shortlisted plays have been selected by a panel of writers for a creative writing workshop and script development.
 The festival has been billed to run from the 23–28 February 2016 across venues including Freedom Park and the University of Lagos.
Tickets are still much available and interested persons should contact the number on the bill.
