Chei! Who did this to the gods?

I was just passing when i stumbled on this picture. Please who could have done this to the gods? i hope the person understands the conundrum he or she has placed on his or her head? The costumier or the "costumer" need serious questioning. But wait o!, was this in the spirit of absurd? Is that Brazilian weavon?  i thought it was supposed to be dreadlocks?
